From the GI Joes announced, I definitely want retro Mindbender, retro Viper, the M.A.S.S. Snake eyes (not really sure I care about the polar bear though), and Footloose. All the others are cool, but not anything I am going to necessarily hunt for.

The retro Rock n Roll is cool, but I actually dont mind the updated one I already have. I even think the tattoos actually make sense on him. So I will likely pass on the retro one unless I find him marked down somewhere.

Why have they gone dead silent on Nemesis Immortal after showing him in the box months ago? Maybe weeks but it feels like months.

Retro Viper really needed painted goggles. That's a big miss. The Viper is a cursed Classified army builder. The first version was extremely rare and had poorly made, unpainted goggles. But it had a great paint job. The three pack was overpriced with dull colors and now is heavily discounted. But it had painted goggles. And now the retro is likely to have the best colors and be widely available . . . but the goggles and gun suck.

With Cobra Commander and the Retro Trooper in hand, I find myself kind of checked out on Classified anyway. It's nice to see they are making what is widely regarded as the worst ARAH figure, though.

Fanhome is picking up where Eaglemoss left off with little Star Trek ships. I've tried, but have been unable to determine if there are any connections between the two companies. My guess would be that Fanhome hired some of the Eaglemoss designers who were laid off when the company went bankrupt but is run by different people. That's only an educated guess, though. I haven't been able to confirm that.

The style is very similar. I went to their website, and I think these will be bigger than Eaglemoss ships (about 6" long) even if they aren't the bigger, more expensive size (9" long I believe). They also seem to only be doing mainly Picard ships.

But their model is very much like Eaglemoss. It's a subscription-based approach.

Eaglemoss did some great things, but had consistent problems (bent nacelles). Maybe FanHome can improve.

Who is FanHome?

These look good, but much like Eaglemoss, not to scale. Are these just Eaglemoss reborn?
