Hasbro SDCC/Pulse-Con Exclusive Sale Details

Jay Cochran - September 10, 2020
Hasbro today has announced that their exclusives that were originally intended to be released during the SDCC will be made available on their HasbroPulse website starting on Wednesday September 23 at 12pm ET and Thursday September 24 at 12pm ET.

Of course if you want to be able to purchase the exclusives on Wednesday you will have had to pay Hasbro to be a premium member. Everyone else will have to wait until Thursday. They state quantities on both days will be limited, 1 per customer and while supplies last.

Also this will only be for those in the US and Canada. They do say that certain International markets will have the exclusives sold at specific retailers depending on the country. The date will be shortly after PulseCon.

The Star Wars exclusives that should be available include the following:

Star Wars: The Black Series Heroes of Endor Figure Set

Black Series Empire Strikes Back 40th Anniversary Wampa

Vintage Collection Star Wars: The Clone Wars 501st Legion Arc Troopers

They are offering 2 tiers for you to choose to back the project. The Hero Tier for $99.99 or the Mythic Tier at $149.99.

And apparently that was it.

For those prices I hope this new version is much better than the remake.

We basically got duped so they could advertise their board game kickstarter :?

They start off with HeroQuest. They are bringing back the classic dungeon crawler game that was released back in the 90's by Milton Bradley. This will be funded through Hasbro's Haslab crowdfunding platform. The campaign starts today and needs 1 millions dollars by November 6.

Wow! , one million, I've heard about board games funded by crowdfunding by more modest companies that don't ask for that amount, but well, they know what they're doing and I'm sure they'll reach that goal without much trouble, I've researched something on the subject and found the game somewhat interesting, though crowdfunding isn't my thing, if they manage to put the game on the market, beyond the Haslab campaign, I could buy it without much thought.

That was it? They weren't kidding about "peek," I guess.

Hasbro today is holding a PREVIEW event for this weekend's Pulse-Con virtual convention. We anticipate or at least hope we will get something new revealed for each of their brands (Marvel, G.I. Joe, Transformers, Power Rangers, Ghostbusters and Star Wars) to wet our appetites for later this week.
JayC - 2020-09-22 @ 3:08 pm

So still not really sure what if anything new will be revealed today for this PREVIEW event taking place in less than a hour, but if there is anything new we will post it here.

Very nice. If they do something similar with GI Joe... With a panel with the designers of the coming up video game, sunbow GI Joe writers and voice actors... That would be awesome!

I really didn't anticipate they gonna invite so many guests including musicians, I thought they just gonna do the same old format, I guess PR really wants to show off. My main anxiety right nowis to get Hellfire boxset, really don't wanna go to secondary market, I hope it's gonna last for some time fingers crossed.
