ToyFarce News: Jedi Still Stranded On Geonosis as HasLab LAAT/i Gunship Has Yet To Be Funded?!

It was supposed to be the Republic's moment of triumph: The Jedi, surrounded by droids in the arena on Geonosis, were waiting for the LAAT/i Gunships to swoop in and save the day. Unfortunately, with just under 14 hours left to go, the HasLab Star Wars: The Vintage Collection LAAT/i Gunship has not yet been funded... and the Jedi are still waiting. ToyFarce investigated...

"They said reinforcements were coming" reported one Jedi master, deflecting blaster bolts with increasing concern. "But apparently, we still need more backers! There's still half a day to go, so there is still hope. I trust the Force, but it will be a close one!"

Mace Windu, cornered in the stands, added: "This party's over... unless someone gets their credit card out, like, right now!"

Meanwhile, Count Dooku and the Separatists are reportedly "having a good feeling about this".

Collectors everywhere are torn, debating whether to pledge in the final hours. The fate of the Clone Wars - and the Jedi on Geonosis - hangs in the balance!

Not to be the one who might spoil the event, but.. can't we just throw in some Rattlers instead - HasLab for sure? I like watching those colorful lightsabers, it would be soo damn sad, if no one would survive the scene!

I dropped the Vintage Collection a year or two back, so I hadn't been paying attention to this, but I'm kind of surprised it hasn't funded yet. Rancor missteps aside Star Wars product usually feels like a sure bet. I suppose it's fairly expensive for what it is, though.
