The First Footage For Star Wars: The Last Jedi Described

The first footage for the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi was screened this morning during a Disney shareholders meeting in Denver. The LATimes was on hand for it and has given a description for it.

Walt Disney Co.'s chairman and chief executive Bob Iger also took a moment during the meeting to pay respects to departed cast member Carrie Fisher.










"Carrie Fisher has been an iconic part in this franchise from the very beginning," he said. "We all miss her. She has great talent and wit. We’re proud that this movie coming up is part of her legacy.”

Iger goes on to describe The Last Jedi as "a perfect chapter in the iconic Skywalker family drama."
