Hasbro's New 6" Star Wars Figure Line Revealed

By Jay Cochran on 2013-01-29 in Action Figures
We first told you about these yesterday and now USAToday has revealed the first figure for Hasbro's new Marvel Legends style 6" Star Wars line. The series will officially be called "The Black Series" and the first wave due out in mid-August will include 6" versions of Luke Skywalker (X-Wing Pilot), Darth Maul, R2-D2, Sandtrooper. The figures will retail for $19.99. The USAToday article does not say exactly how many points of articulation they will have but you can see from the images below that they will come in cool looking display box type packaging. This line is not replacing the 3 3/4" line. In fact the Vintage Collection line will now continue under this Black series banner.

There will be a total of 8 figures for this line released in 2013.

We should be seeing more of these next week at the New York Toy Fair so stay tuned.
