2011 SDCC: EFX, Gentle Giant, and Sideshow Panel Recaps

EFX looked at what makes a prop replica a "legend', with photos of the creation of a stormtrooper helmet replica

Gentle Giant showed sketches of Sebulba and Boba Fett mini busts, a discussion of the Clone Wars line with VP of Product Development Dev Gilmore and Senior Manage Ashly Powell, and a number of the enlarged vintage Kenner figures, including Chewbacca, Han Solo, Stormtrooper (which will be repackaged on a Star Wars card), and the soon to debut 12" Vintage R2-D2.

Sideshow Toys presented images of Premium Format Aayla Secura, C-3PO & R2-D2, Emperor on throne, Grand Moff Tarkin, and Han Solo in Carbonite; Legendary Scale Busts for Commander Cody, Darth Sidious, and Obi-Wan Kenobi; concept art for 501st Clone Trooper, Captain Rex, Boba Fett, Darth Vader, and Stormtrooper; and for the 12" line; 501st Legion Vader's Fist Clone Trooper, Clone Lt. Captain Rex, Commander Cody, Coruscant Clone Trooper, Utapau Clone Trooper, Prototype/work in progress shots of Boba Fett,General Grievous, IG-88, Super Battle Droid, and future concepts; Imperial Probe Droid, Luke's Landspeeder, and a Tauntaun.
