Sad to see him go...I didn't agree with him most of the time, but he was pretty funny, usually! RIP!

Sure hope God has a sense of humor though?

I was thinking the same thing when I heard about his death.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that Carlin was raised Catholic and went to a strict Catholic school, and that's where his distaste for religion came from...

Man, ANOTHER big name gone.

I liked Carlins comedy for the MOST part, but there were times when he pushed a little too hard against conservative values and religion, but he was just too damn funny to resist.

Not like he was a neighbor or close relative or doing much entertaining over the last several years to be "missed", we'll ALWAYS have his comedy he left behind, but it's sad to hear he's passed.

Sure hope God has a sense of humor though?

George Carlin was definitely awesome. He will will be greatly missed.

I never saw his TV show, but I remember seeing some of his old stand up comedies. I'll always remember his comparisons between football and baseball.

"In football you TAKE GROUND AND SCORE 6 POINTS IF YOU REACH THE END-ZONE!"

"In baseball you run around the bases and go home. @msKnight@ " @lol@

A sad, sad day. He was excellent at his trade, I'm glad I got to see him live.

Wheeljack35 - 2008-06-23 @ 5:46 pm

I agreed with him

WOW! I did not know this. He will be missed. I didn't agree with him sometimes, but I thought he was funny!
