Rumor: Live-Action Star Wars Rebels Sequel Series With Ezra Bridger In The Works?

There has been a lot of speculation surrounding casting reports for The Mandalorian. Rosario Dawson is said to be playing a live-action version of Ahsoka Tano, and when Temuera Morrison was reported to be playing Boba Fett, there was speculation around him joining Ahsoka as a post ROTJ Captain Rex.

Now there's word of another Rebels character making the jump to live-action, Ezra Bridger Casting is said to be underway for a male actor, between ages 30 and 40. of Asian, Latino, or Middle Eastern descent.



Star Wars Rebels ended with Ezra and Thrawn heading to an unknown destination, prior to the events of A New Hope, with Ahsoka and Sabine going to look for him, following the events of Return Of The Jedi

Considering all the fan service passed off as story telling in ROS, I'm kind of surprised we didn't see Ezra in that movie.
