New Star Wars Film To Be Directed By Taika Waititi

It was rumored earlier this year that Taika Waititi would be directing an upcoming Star Wars film, and now, Lucasfilm makes it official. Waititi, who has directed Thor:Ragnarok and the 'Redemption" episode of The Mandalorian, as well as, voicing the character IG-11, will be co-writing with Krysty Wilson-Cairns (1917).

Disney and Lucasfilm also announce a new untitled “Star Wars” TV series is in the works for Disney+ from Leslye Headland. (Russian Doll)
