By Bespin refugee on 2009-07-06 in Movie & TV
With a November 17th release date for the season 1 dvd box set, a poster on the Bu-ray.com forums says he has seen demo disks and "... it ... looks like they're in their OAR [original aspect ratios] of 2.35:1!"
He also adds that while the packaging is not final, "...It's a book-type release with a large book in the center of all concept drawings for the characters and other parts of the series.

There are going to be directors cuts, commentaries, 2D and 3D initial renderings and more."

He was making his way there because he just fought Bonecrusher

yeah, for someone who cared so much about saving him from the humans, he sure didn't care about his same buddy getting his legs blown off

and I forget a bit now, but where was optimus that whole time?

The one scene were Bumblebees legs were blown off ...As Sam was really caring for his freind Jazz set in vehicle mode not saying a word

Sam had to actually push Jazz back to make room for Bumblebee

Bay may be directing, but he isn't writing. The writer can add more to the story, adding emotional appeal, etc. (which I thought was pretty well executed w/ 'bee's capture).

It didn't bother me that jazz was killed; it bothered me that we didn't get to know him enough to really care.

I don't think any of us here hates Jazz. I hated the fact he was killed but it would be kind of silly to bring him back without explination which Bay is incapable of.

Whats with all the Jazz haters... Have him rebuilt with a white paint job and I might actually buy a movie toy...

Who hates jazz? I think once he's dead, he should stay dead. It takes away from the story if characters can be killed off, just to be reborn again and again; detracts from the drama/risk/etc. I mean, if they can just be rebuilt/reborn, where's the emotional impact of their deaths in the first place (not that jazz had much of a dramatic death, but other characters may)?

Michael Bay is the director... there wont be any "emotional impact of their deaths"... I dont think he is capable of that... But action he can do, so why not bring back one of the cooler character...

Bay could have said that to throw people off -OR- maybe it's prequel scenes, like others have said??

Who knows...

While I really like Jazz I think he should remain dead. I REALLY hope that is Prowl because I'd like to see the good cop bad cop scenario.
