The only thing I would love to see in CGI would be Shadows of the Empire.We could still see a young Luke and Leia with the actors voicing their characters
This was something I have been wanting to see too. The video game was ok but it was in the point of view of Dash Rendar though.
As long as they get Brad Bird to direct,I'm all for it.
I really hope this ends up being true. I have really enjoyed all of their movies (Haven't seen Brave or Monsters University yet but am looking forward to seeing both of them someday) and if done right a Star Wars movie by them could potentially be one of my favorite movies ever. Maybe even rival the Original Trilogy.
Plus Pixar was originally part of Lucasfilm before becoming a separate company so that whole full circle thing...

That would be awesome! But, like most expanded universe tales, it's been forgotten or ignored by those in control. I wonder if the new filmmakers ever took a look for themselves into the EU...it will be strange to see what they cannibalise in the new films with or without knowing the source
