A Look At The Vintage Prototype Unproduced Telegraph And Walkie Talkies

Bespin refugee - March 29, 2009
From StarWars.com:
"Concept 2000" and the Star Wars logo weren't enough to push this outdated telegraph toy or walkie talklie into production, although the C-3PO walkie talkie did make it as far as an early product sheet for marketing and order placement.

My TRU got both 7 & 8 in today. I only snagged Bludd and Snake-Eyes wave 8 and 3 Vipers from 7.

Went to the Athens Alabama Walmart before work and scored the Python soldier,The cartoon Baroness and Major Bludd. They had 2 cases on the pegs for what I saw.

Found me a complete set, plus extra's of SE, RB, and Bludd. Saw them at 2 local WM's along with more wave 7.

I think the cry of "Let the hunt begin!" will slowly become extinct with $4 gas (as if it's not going to go OVER $4, besides). I may just order up these guys on HTS and wait.

I found wave 8 at Wal-Mart down here in Vicksburg, MS yesterday along with a restock of wave 7. I ended up picking up Bludd, TF Flint, PP Officer, & a couple more Vipers.

All I found was RB and CC up in WA, but I'm happy for the time being, I just got wave 7 last week! #US1# (on second thought I really, really want a couple Major Bludds !)

I hope wave 7 isn't done. I want to army build the Vipers and I need a few more tank drivers. I bet that wave 8 is a Photoshop job.

Got wave 8 from my etailer. This guy is the greatest. Usually when stuff hits the brick and mortar store the week after I get a confirmation saying my stuff is coming. This time the stuff hits the store and the next day i got a confirmation saying its on its way. I got my wave 7 last friday and wave 8 came today. By the way the Maj Bludd I have cannot remove his hat, his robot arm is not movable, sans his wrist and hand, and his rocket can be removed. Maybe they have a running change? Im really pissed at Hasbro cause seriously what the hell did we push him back if this is what we get.

Just as a heads up. The gloved hands on Tiger Force Flint work well on regular Flint. I'm sure some of you customizers will find a way to use the whole arms and repaint them to go with reguarl flint but those of us who aren't customizers, just switching the hands makes the regular Flint look alot better.
