With less than three weeks left until the opening of the 2006 Comic Con International, Master Replicas is pleased to present another update, pertaining to all things Comic Con.

First, a quick reminder: the 2006 Master Replicas Convention exclusive will be a limited edition Black Chrome version of the highly anticipated Han Solo Blaster Scaled Replica. Only 3,000 units of the exclusive will be produced, and it will be sold at the show on a first-come/first-serve basis. Be sure to visit Master Replicas at Booth # 2913 to get your Black Chrome Han Solo Scaled Replicas for just $45 apiece! And, as an added incentive, a very rare, randomly inserted chase version of the exclusive will be made available as well! Good luck, and happy hunting!

Now, Master Replicas is pleased to announce a second convention exclusive, just added to the roster, but sure to be one of the biggest hits of the show. In early 2006, Master Replicas released what is arguably the most sought after Force FX Lightsaber produced to date – the Darth Maul Force FX Lightsaber. Unfortunately, Ray Park – the actor who portrayed nefarious Sith Lord Darth Maul in The Phantom Menace – cannot attend Comic Con due to a prior engagement…however, as a make-good for fans, Ray has signed 500 plaques for Master Replicas’ first-ever Force FX Signature edition! The Darth Maul Double Bladed Force FX Lightsaber Signature Edition is strictly limited to 500 pieces worldwide, and will be sold on a first-come/first-serve basis at Comic Con. For $300, you will receive the Darth Maul Double Bladed Force FX Lightsaber, the Limited Edition plaque signed by the one-and-only Ray Park, and a certificate of authenticity from Master Replicas!

But fear not, Collectors Society members…for those of you unable to attend the show (or for those of you who do not want to risk missing out on this very rare exclusive), we will make a predetermined allotment of the Darth Maul Double Bladed Force FX Lightsaber Signature Editions available to you through the Collectors Society beginning at 9 am PST on Tuesday, July 11th. The exclusive will remain on sale until Thursday, July 13th or until the predetermined allotment has been sold out!

And don’t forget Master Replicas’ “Comic Con Show Special” – if you purchase the Black Chrome Han Solo Blaster Scaled Replica AND the Darth Maul Double Bladed Force FX Lightsaber (the regular or the exclusive Signature Edition), OR spend $250 on anything in the booth, and you will automatically be enrolled in the 2006 Master Replicas Collectors Society. (Over a $300 value!)

Stay tuned each week for additional Comic Con updates from Master Replicas!
