Episode 9 To Be Last #StarWars Score By John Williams?

Bespin refugee - March 03, 2018
in this KUSC interview with John Williams, after discussing his work on Last Jedi, Williams says:
"“We know J.J. Abrams is preparing [Star Wars: Episode IX] now, that I will hopefully do next year for him. I look forward to it. It will round out a series of nine [films]. That will be quite enough for me. Disney Studios probably will take it further. As you know, Disney has acquired the rights for Lucasfilm, and they will probably continue on through… decades, possibly, doing Star Wars-related attractions.”
If he does indeed bow out after Episode 9, it will mark his tenth Star Wars film, including writing a theme for Solo: A Star Wars Story.

By the way, it's a pretty interesting interview, talking about movie music, working with Steven Speiberg, Williams' 51 Academy Award nominations, and much more...
