Composer Chosen For Star Wars Stand-Alone Film, 'Rogue One'

Bespin refugee - March 15, 2015
Less than a week after the title was revealed, it appears we also know who will compose the score for the first Star Wars stand-alone film, 'Rogue One.' Alexandre Desplat, who worked with director Gareth Edwards on 2014's 'Godzilla,' has also followed in John Williams' footsteps on another franchise, composing the score for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts 1 & 2. 'Rogue One' begins filming this summer in London, for release on December 16, 2016.
