'Star Wars' Actor Khan Bonfils Has Died At Age 42

British actor Khan Bonfils, known for playing the character of Jedi master Saesee Tiin in Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace has died at the age of 42. The cause of death is currently not known.

Bonfils collapsed Tuesday while rehearsing the Craft Theatre company’s production of Dante’s Inferno, which was scheduled to open tomorrow at the Rag Factory in East London.

Bonfils career was limited but he did appear in two of the 20 highest-grossing films of all time: Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace (1999) as Jedi master Saesee Tiin; and 2012’s Skyfall. His other credits include Tomorrow Never Dies, Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life, Batman Begins and Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow.
