Star Wars #Custom Of The Week: 1:12 ROTJ #BobaFett By The Art Of Luke Sprywalker
Bespin refugee - August 06, 2017
This week's custom is a 1:12 ROTJ Boba Fett by The Art Of Luke Sprywalker
Here's a look at some of what went into the figure:
"Bashing together the Fett blaster from ROTJ. Now to add the small scope
I gave the entire figure a black wash then dry brushed a light grey for his flight suit. Starting to repaint the armor now
Nearing completion on my 1:12 ROTJ Boba Fett. I cast the belt pouches, painted them then added them to the sides of the belt. More paint work on the helmet and I like to look at a close up photo before I add the final details. I have also removed his tan cape and replaced it with a piece of green fabric. I sat there for a while looking the figure over and thought something was not quite right. I forgot to result the left arm gauntlet ROTJ style!!! So now I have done that and painted it. Almost done!!!
Over the weekend added the straps to the back of the knee armor for added realism. Then I gave the figure a bit of weathering. Black wash is a few areas as needed followed by chalk pastels in tan, a dirty yellow and dark grey mostly on his pants then a bit on the cape and upper flight suit areas.
Presenting my ROTJ Boba Fett 1:12 scale. I made the stem of his range finder out of a staple and glued on the Hasbro range finder. Then drilled a hole in the helmet and glued it in place. Big thanks to my buddy Jason Hill for helping me get the look of ROTJ armor."
