DeAgostini Metal Miniature Series Expands to 60

By Jay Cochran on 2006-09-26 in Action Figures
StarWars.com has posted news about an expanding series of 1:32 scale heavy metal miniatures bundled with issues of Star Wars Figuras De Plomo, a "partworks" magazine printed by Planeta DeAgostini of Spain. The Figuras magazines, which focus on a specific character or vehicle in each issue, are designed to be combined into a single encyclopedic digest for fans who want the most trivial factoids about their favorite Star Wars characters and hardware available at their fingertips. Since February 2005, 40 issues of Figuras De Plomo have been released, along with 41 different metal miniatures (Yoda and Stormtrooper were combined for issue #3). The series was recently expanded to include 20 more issues and figures, so that by the end of 2007, there will be 60 issues with 61 or more figures and vehicles.
