Star Wars collector Phil is reportedly "extremely impressed and slightly concerned" by how quickly he was convinced that he now absolutely needs an action figure of a buff Rotta the Hutt after seeing the trailer of The Mandalorian & Grogu. ToyFarce investigated...

"Yesterday, if you had told me I’d eventually want a shirtless, jacked-up Hutt figure on my shelf, I would have laughed at you" said Phil while zooming into blurry screenshots from the new movie. "Now? Honestly, I’m gonna need the Black Series, Vintage Collection, Hot Toys, and probably a statue. I need him in all the scales!"

"I mean, look at him!"

The new film features Rotta the Hutt, once known primarily as Jabba's cute slug-like son from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars movie, returning with a dramatically more intimidating appearance, complete with muscles, tattoos, and the physique of a galactic MMA champion: "It’s honestly incredible how easy this was" admitted Phil. "I saw one shot of a jacked-up Hutt walking slowly toward the camera in the trailer and my brain immediately went 'Hell yeah'."

According to sources, collectors online have already begun fantasy-booking the inevitable toy releases despite having spent the last several years complaining that toy companies "only make stuff nobody asked for": "Okay but imagine the soft goods vest!" wrote one collector on social media just minutes after the trailer debuted. "Also they better include interchangeable arms in flexing poses!"

At press time, Phil had reportedly gone from ironic interest to full emotional investment after seeing the announcement from Hot Toys, which includes 2 axes. "Darn it" he whispered while confirming the latest pre-order. "They got me again..."

Can't restrict myself.. look at those abs.. it's so Hutt! Why not renaming a whole segment of the designer team to Hutt Toys?

Odd, I have been browsing this news site for the last year, and I never saw a post about Rotta getting a toy for the movie...

There's been a couple (the ones in this article). The Star Wars related news are on our Jedi Insider website (and the Marvel ones on Marvelous News, and Transformers on TFormers). Links are at the bottom of the site.

Well I hope they paid the likeness rights to the estate of Big Lenny. Let's not have a repeat of what they did to Rich Piana with Thanos!
