I'm kinda interested in Ripley, but not enough... I think these are all passes for the time being

So the 100zabillonth time we've seen pretty much all of these figures except X-Pilot Dana Ripley, cool, sure, oh and back to that collector frenzy-afying "special" box business that in the ends means jack-poopy, cool again, pumped for those who are happy with all of this, Me personally I'm very good, I just want to watch the movie.

These are all well done figures, but nothing super exciting here. I was really hoping to see Zeb in the first series.

Yeah, it feels like they are really just doing repaint after repaint lately. I'm not sure what but black series needs some sort of spark.

They open themselves up to accusations about endless stormtroopers, Mandalorians, and clones. But I think they've actually been better recently. I just got a Seventh Sister inquisitor for example that I had been waiting forever for them to make. And Barriss Offee wasn't too long ago. And I didn't want him, but I know a lot of people were super excited by Watto.

Dirty stormtroopers don't really interest me. I already have enough yellowing on some of mine to simulate that look. And I just bought too many of the Walmart Mandalorian stormtrooper reissue.

But I still can't promise myself I won't be tempted. I like stormtroopers. I wish there was an imperial navy/army officer or two to mix in with this crowd. But they seem to have lost their appetite for those figures.

We're really doing the 'first edition packaging' again? I don't think that drove any sales the last time they did it, I'm fascinated to think why they think it will do anything this time around.

I'll pick up Sigourney Weaver to add to my X-Wing pilot collection, but I don't know how urgent it'll be to pick up the new Mando & Grogu 2-pack. Troopers look okay but I've got plenty of nicer looking Imperials, so maybe the AT-RT driver? Not a whole heap that's terribly exciting here - I hope the movie has more surpirses that we're not seeing in the toys here.
