They sure take their time, but Jada do really good quality figures, so I'm interested to see what these will be like when they finally come out. Kinda hoping they'll integrate sufficiently with Marvel legends to have a little crossover. Hope they get a season 1 Mark out before toooo long!

Looks fantastic to me

Don't get me wrong, I think it looks great too. Just not worth it in my eyes. I heard there was initially a third head sculpt and other accessories such as the big boot to switch out on his leg. If it had those, and maybe a slightly better cape, maybe it would make it feel more worth it.

I would love to have good figures of several of the characters lined up for this "Elite" line but I'm never going to pay that $60 price tag on any of them. No chance. Stripped down versions at half that price point and I'd likely bite, though.

Seeing the new in package images of the Elite Edition Spawn has confirmed my fears. Definitely not worth the rumored price point of $60.

Fwiw, I saw some mention of there being 2 price points. Good news if that ends up being true since i don't think I can do $60 each either.

The very first release from the Image Comics Founders Series features Todd McFarlane's SPAWN, an Elite Edition 7" deluxe action figure. Pre-orders launch DECEMBER 18th at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth!Based on his classic look from the first issues of Spawn, it features a wired fabric cape, 2 attachable chains, spiked club, 4 alternate hands, alternate head, Necroplasm effect and collectible art card.

The included base can be arranged with future Image Comics Founders Elite figures coming in 2026! PLUS an Elite Points card that can used to redeem incredible rewards and one of a kind prototypes.

If I hadn't backed that Spawn figure Kickstarter a few years back, I'd be all over this. I would like to see how the base 'arranges' though - I've made the mistake before with the McFarlane posed movie Jumanji figures that they would be able to connect into a coherent display or at least be able to group them close enough together that it doesn't look freakin' weird.

All of their ultra articulated figures are in the 7 inch scale. They're not going to suddenly switch scales now.

I read both my posts three times and 1/10th scale isn't mentioned on either, it clearly says 7-inch for Spawn.....the Nacelle Star Trek Cruise post is 1/10th Scale according to the press release.
