In fairness it's not really a 1-1 comparison. He's also 6 bucks cheaper than the Legends Deluxe figures. Not about to argue that he couldn't have been standard price, I mean, Chewy's taller than standard figures but he still runs with the rest of the line price-wise, but it doesn't feel quite right stacking different deluxe figures against each other when the prices don't match up either.

Granted, 5 bucks are 5 bucks. How about stacking it against Heavy Duty, for example? Same price, but then we'll argue that it's because they own that license right?

Marvel is a bigger name right now, even in it's arguable "downfall", is the SW license more expensive? It's been years since Black Series was consistently impressive, and years since figures that should be regular releases are marketed as Deluxe. What was Deluxe about Book of Boba Fett-Boba Fett? Or Krssantan? They said "the deluxe painting". Was it really something that a regular release couldn't have gotten?

The scaling is all over the place, they constantly rerelease old figures without any upgrade (just different painting if at all). I can't remember the last time I was excited to get a new figure, let alone a deluxe one.

Maybe I'm being too harsh with my keys and not enough with my wallet, it's just... I mean with ML we get deluxe figures as BaFs, I'm not saying it's a perfect solution, but it worked for so long it's unbelievable they didn't adopt the concept in Black Series. Think of all the pegwarmers that wouldn't have warmed pegs as hard if they had had a wampa's head, or Grievous arms, or we could've been ranting about how IG 11 being a BaF felt like a rip-off since it had the size of IG 88

With their most recent deployments of the G.I. Joe Classified Series figures, Hasbro thought you might enjoy a peek inside the intelligence reports on Nemesis Immortal and Trench Viper, and the Joe personnel file of Heavy Duty!

Savage Oppress being a Deluxe feels unearned. I mean, comparing to Marvel Legends, the Red Hulk is massive, and Captain and Falcon got wings... this guy... I mean, Hasbro should do better by us. It feels like they've given up on SW.

Gosh darn, I had Nemesis in my cart on pulse, I got distracted and didn't go to check out, then I was doing a bunch of stuff came back realized I had not checked out and it was sold out.

Why Why Why....!?

I feel your pain... The figure will probably go up again in a few days so keep checking post... I was thinking in buying something else apart from Nemesis when I was at the site yesterday so I decided to buy just there exclusives...?????

Cool pics. But I'm kinda bummed about his height. I guess I thought he was going to tower above all joes significantly, but clearly he sizes up evenly with Serpentor and Road Pig of all people.

Bummer, but not a deal breaker.

Shown below via Dan Larson are in-hand images for the new Hasbro Pulse exclusive G.I. Joe Classified Series Deluxe Nemesis Immortal which went up for purchase yesterday for $44.99.
