Hasbro Star Wars January 23, 2024 Fanstream Coverage

Today Hasbro kicks off their first Fanstream of 2024 with the Star Wars brand team who includes Jing, Emily, Chris and Eric,.. Look for new pre-orders for some of the products announced today to launch tomorrow (1/24) at 1pm ET at places like out sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth.



Recapping 2023 reveals: Vintage Collection 4-Pack Phase 2 Clones and Black Series Clone Trooper 2-pack. Retro Collection Ep 16-pack from the prequels. Vintage Collection Deluxe Jango Fett. Black Series Battle Droid 2-Pack.

New Reveals for 2024:

Will be more focused on Fan-Channel in 2024. They give a breakdown of what Fan Channel means in each country. See screencap below.

Black Series Phase 1 Clone and and Droideka (Pre-Order tomorrow). Also Ashoka Grand Admiral Thrawn. Also going up tomorrow for pre-order.

Vintage Collection Captain Rex, Refresh Luke X-Wing, Captain Axe Woves, Mandalorian Fleet Commander, Mandalorian season 3 Mando with soft-goods cape, Season 3 Grogru with hovering pram and chainmail armor. Pre-orders tomorrow.

Hasbro Pulse Exclusive Vintage Collection Rebels Sabine and Chopper figures to go with the figures included with the Haslab Ghost vehicle. Pre-orders start tomorrow. For places that don't have Pulse you can get them at the same retailers that offered the Ghost. The pre-orders on these will close on Feb 14.

Ill probably pick up a vintage Rex. I wish they would rerelease the episode 3 obi and ani.

I'm probably down for the Droideka, assuming the price isn't too obscene, though I kind of wish someone had gone across the hall to team Transformers to see how it's done, because that rolled up version was not overly impressive from what we saw. But then again, what lunatic would display it that way anyway? No one I'd like to meet.

I did think the more or less "made to order" approach to Chopper and Sabine Wren was very interesting, and honestly something I've hoped they'd institute for a while now. It's a smarter approach to production numbers and something that will help prevent the overproducing problem Hasbro has been struggling with for a while. This is probably something of a test run, but I suspect we'll see more of it in the future.
