It is with much sadness that we report Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner has passed away today. The 58-year-old leader of the ever-popular toy company has been struggling with health issues, who just a couple of days ago took leave from the CEO position. What was anticipated as a hopeful recovery, has come to an end today when he succumbed to what is reported to be a long battle with cancer.
Goldner who assumed the role of CEO in 2008 guided Hasbro from just a toymaker into a full-blown entertainment media company that has produced many successful Hollywood movies, TV shows, games, and interactive media. Surely, millions of young and old fans around the world will remember him for the joy his leadership brought to our lives.
