I preordered these today, I wasn't sure if I really wanted them but I figured I might as well get the preorder now and if I change my mind I can cancel them later.

In five years, we've gotten two figures of characters made before 2017, and one was a repaint of a figure from from before "Gaming Greats" was a thing. I get wanting to use the 6" size as a platform for newer stuff which may be more "hot" right now, but it really seems like the more iconic characters are little more than an after thought. To be honest, it kind of feels like that with The Black Series in general these days, but the classics are especially getting the short end of the stick with Gaming Greats.

It seems their efforts are concentrated on the Mandalorian. Now, I love the Mandalorian but there's a lot of other properties in Star Wars that I wish would get more attention.

The Gaming Greats line frustrates me to no end so much potential for good figures and they seem content with reuse and repaints. I would buy pretty much anything from the Old Republic games but alas they don't seem to have plans for them. Even with the Jedi Fallen Order there are cool characters who would make good action figures.

There's some cool stuff here but for the most part not a lot to get excited about. I'm glad we are getting a re release of the ROTS Obi Wan but so far it seems the previous two releases had better headsculpts. Rogue One stuff looks good may keep an eye on those. Looking forward to see how the Mandalorian figures turn out.

I would also like to see a rerelease of the obi and anakin revenge of the sith tvc figs.

Agreed. In the 3.75 scale, how many characters have they made from force unleashed, kotor, fallen order games. I know they made starkiller.

And it was frustrating to hear them talk about 2021 being the tenth anniversary of SWTOR, but there's no indication that Malak, or Shae Vizla, or Sith Troopers, or 6" Republic Troopers are "in the pipeline" for the Black Series Gaming Greats line. I know it's still possible, but I have serious doubts that anything pre-Fallen Order is on their radar right now.
