Face is probably about as good as Sideshow's if not a little better, tailoring looks better, and of course, this one is articulated, while Sideshow's is not. But those damn ear seams, while improved a bit over the prototype, are still a bit of an eyesore.

I'm a huge hot Toys fan and collector, but I have to admit I'm a disappointed here. The reason being that while the craftsmanship is spot-on as always, it's a disservice to the character to not have more facial expressions. I had thought this figure would be an excellent one to experiment with an articulated jawline, or area around the mouth, perhaps. Hot Toys effectively usesswappable lower mouths often, I adore my angry Netflix Daredevil figure, but in this case the wider mouth area might have lent itself to even a limited range of movement. Especially as a child experiencing fear / happiness / surprise, etc. all within sometimes the same episode, this character was well suited for some technique along those lines. Innovation in articulation is a key hallmark of Hot Toys' stellar work, and I hope if they ever produce a second version, they take some more chances to be creative in that area.
This looks great. I would've like to see articulated ears instead of interchangeable ones but it looks fantastic.
