Star Wars Mandalorian Black Series Character Collection And Vintage Collection Carbonized Figures From Hasbro

By Jay Cochran on 2020-09-21 in Action Figures
Disney is launching a new marking blitz for The Mandalorian series that they are calling Mando Mondays. The idea is that every Monday they announce or show off something new released to the series.

This week we have some Hasbro figure reveals via StarWars.com.

First we have a confirmation of the Vintage Collection Carbonized figures we told you about this weekend.

They are linking these to Walmart.com, however the listings on there aren't actually live and its not clear if these will be Walmart exclusive or available everywhere. We will provide the Walmart links below. The links are expected to go live by 1pm ET.

They also listed new figures they are calling the Black Series Character Collection which feature figures on Kenner like cardbacks that are listed as 6". The figures have different paint decos and include imperial credit chips. They list 5 figures all of which have been released before. The figures have been linked to various stores including Best Buy, Amazon, Gamestop and Target. Right now the only link that is remotely live is the Target one, thought the figure isn't yet available for purchase there. It's unclear if these will be exclusive to these stores or not. Once again we will list the links below. The links are expected to go live by 1pm ET and the figures will cost $25 each. The Heavy Infantry figure being a deluxe figure will cost $35.

The only one I'm even remotely interested in is the Death Trooper, probably. I don't really like the look of these they look kind of cartoony.

Whats even funnier is they are $5 more than the previous versions of these figures they released.

The Imperial credits are worth $5. ?

Thanks JayC, I was wondering what thesewere when they were rumored.

But, what a load of crap! Hasbrois totally out to lunch, does anyone honestly think these are cool? Its a total cash grab. When did covering action figures in a weird glaze to make them non screen accurate become appealing?

I guess I should be happy since it is an easy pass.
