Hasbro's Brian Goldner Gives Positive Outlook For Company's Future Today On CNBC

By Jay Cochran on 2020-03-23 in Action Figures

Hasbro's CEO Brian Goldner was on CNBC this morning and overall gave a pretty positive outlook for the future of the company despite growing concerns over Covid-19.

He indicated production would be back at full capacity in China by the end of week and that sales for the company remained strong, in large part because demand was up for their gaming products as people hunker down at home. While production due to factory closures overseas had fallen behind a bit, he indicated that he felt they would soon be able to offset that and be back on track as things ramp back up.

He also said their were no plans for any kind of layoffs in the foreseeable future.

Now thats a Corporate face if I ever saw one. Can you imagine how many cups of kool-aid this guy has had to down to get to where he is?

I don't know about a "Corporate Face," but as far as S--t-Eating grins go, this guy is set for life.

Well if China is bouncing back enough to keep making products, then we should be able to get onboard with this quarantine long enough to curve the virus over here. Im praying that this is all over soon as far as the virus spreading.

That's the thing isn't it. Most of the people who contract COVID suffer only minor symptoms. Further, many of those infected have already recovered. Quarantines have nothing to do with it, it's just running its course.
