Jay Cochran - December 03, 2019
Shown below is a look at the upcoming 11" Plush figure from Mattel based on the Baby Yoda character simply refereed to as "The Child" in the new Disney+ The Mandalorian TV series. One of the images shows the floating stroller seen in the series, I looks as if this will be part of the packaing for the figure. It is listed with a March 2020 release date and costs $26.99. It's about time we saw Baby Yoda merch. The Black Series should not be far behind on this. And, please have the floating crib with openning closures for maximum effect!

I like the fact that they held on from releasing merchandise based on "The Child" so the character could be a surprise to people.

Mattel Making Star wars merch? This is something I didn't expect to see.

If this guy was in stores right now, I feel that many would trample each other in a Funzo-type frenzy manner in order to grab him.

That little rascal has become too popular in so little time. I guess the baby Yoda stuff will out sell the rest of SW stuff, particularly the Rise of the Skywalker stuff.

Yeah I think everyone and their uncle will end up putting out Baby Yoda stuff here. This will be the new face of Star Wars for a while IMO.

So Mattel also wants a piece of cake about this "baby yoda" buffoonery?. I think it's the best license they've acquired that I've seen from them in recent months.
