Jedi Insider Fan Feedback: Build A Future With Star Wars Playsets?

Bespin refugee - May 01, 2019
At Jedi Insider, we're looking to promote discussions with you, the collectors, so, we're launching a series of topics for discussion.

Hasbro's announcement of the Vintage Collection Jabba's Palace Adventure Set during this year's Toy Far has sparked new hopes for 3 3/4" playsets. While there have been said to be rumors of a similar style Cantina playset discussed(?), what environment(s) would you like to see produced, Mos Eisley Cantina? The Death Star(s)? Cloud City? Something else?

I still use the POTF2 Cantina & Jabba's Palace 3-D displays, but, I'd love to see a scaled up version of the 'vintage Micro Collection 'worlds'.

I think you could have just put all that in one post, dude.

Also I second all the Bespin stuff and Vader's mediation chamber, even though that's probably too small for a "playset."

I would love to see more super detailed 3D (non-cardboard) environments like this! Especially Bespin themed. Bespin is my favorite Star Wars locale. I would love to see a carbon freeze chamber or Bespin cell block/torture room or a breakaway window/gantry set. A Mos Eisley cantina set would drive me nuts as well. Or an Echo base environment... or Wampa cave... or Lars Homestead... or imperial bunker... or trash compactor... or Death Star throne room...

The possibilities are endless!! As long as its original trilogy I can't imagine them making anything like this that I wouldn't want!

This.is something I've been hoping for since the POTF2 Death Star 'playsets, as well as, the Saga Deluxe sets, the OTC 'environmental pieces, etc...

In addition to the Cantina ,Jabba's Palace, and Death Star, I'd really love to see some Cloud City sets, the Carbon Freeze chamber, the break-away window, and gantry....

I hope they can keep the price(s)close to the Jabba set. When it was announced, I expected it to cost $50-100+, $40-50 was a welcomesurprise
