LEIA BESPIN "CLOUD CITY" JUMBO FIGURE
$80.00
Expected release date is Q2, of 2019

“You look absolutely beautiful. You truly belong here with us among the clouds.” - Lando

Gentle Giant Ltd expands our hugely collectible line of 12” Jumbos based on the vintage Star Wars action figures with another key figure from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back! While escaping from the Empire, the small band of rebels aboard the Millennium Falcon seek asylum in Cloud City above the gas mines of Bespin. The city is being managed by Lando, and old friend of Han’s, so they should be able to relax a bit before heading back into the fray. While Princess Leia did change clothes, she did not let her guard down while in “the city in the clouds.” However it was too late… trouble had already found them…

Digitally scanned from mint 3.75” vintage originals and reproduced in scale to the rest of the Jumbo figure line. No detail has been overlooked in the creation of this Jumbo. Leia Organa (Bespin Gown) Jumbo is roto and injection molded and made of durable plastics, this fully articulated jumbo figure includes a faithfully reproduced including her vinyl cape and her blaster, just like you remember! That is not all, this classic creation comes packaged on a re-sealable 1983 Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back inspired blister card, with original photography and artwork!

Same here, mate... It seems a bit goofy to me, but if people dig this kinda thing, and have the money and space for em, more power to em, I guess, lol.

Yeah, I have to say the price point will keep me away. I dig the concept, and Im glad collectors get something like, but definitely not for me

Well...not my cup of tea, but people what like vintage toys like those meego inspired figures from DST and other companies that make those "old looking" toys will have a great time.

They could have their space and apparently they have since people buy them, but to me it's just funny that with all the technology and great looking figures with photo real face printing, detailed paint aps and articulation, these are still in demand.

I am absolutely intrigued by the Jumbo Kenner line...Buuut, at that price point, theres no way theyll ever be anything more than a humorous footnote in the action figure collecting market, for me.
