#SDCC: Official #Hasbro #StarWars Images - #Solo Force Link 2.0 Figures And Playsets

By Bespin refugee on 2018-07-21 in Action Figures
During Hasbro's Star Wars panel at the 2018 San Diego Comic Con, they unveiled some new Force Link 2.0 figures from Solo: A Star Wars Story; as well as, two exclusive playsets, "Kessel" ($30 @ Walmart) and "Vandor-1" ($40 @Target). These sets look like a cross between the vintage "Land Of The Jawas"/"Hoth Ice Planet" playsets and the POTF2 'pop up diorama' sets, and each appears to come with a figure.

I'm hoping they do well, the last few years, Monster High, Batman, TMNT all did well with plastic/cardboard playsets... if they were smart, they'd make an adult collection one too like a Death Star for the vintage collection, play homage to the vintage one, but all new, that would be awesome.

Well, they are indeed selling a 6" Stormtrooper with a cardboard background. but to be fair the price point seems a tad too high.

Man, the kid in me really digs the fact that theyre doing playsets like this again... While the adult in me envies any kid nowadays that would be just as excited for em.
