About Ponte En Sus Zapatos (Walk In Their Shoes)
Ponte en sus Zapatos Foundation is a 501(c)(3) born from an increasing need of Venezuelan people. We collect goods, from shoes, clothing, medicines, and staple food through our social media. Our foundation encompasses different areas in Venezuela beyond the capital Caracas. We also serve Guatire, Valencia, Maturin, La Guaira, and since January 2018 we feed 100 kids each day in El Tocuyo, Lara State with a little as $3 per day.
We know the reach of our shippings to Venezuela, and how they contribute to palliate peoples’ needs, however, we believe that the best way to help anyone is to teach them to find solutions for their needs. That is the reason for which we have made alliances with different organizations in Venezuela and in the United States to create employment and support initiatives to develop skills, such as, recycling workshops, sponsor doctors currently works on public hospitals. We are helping Venezuelans to cope with the crisis through the many donations we receive and send, but are aware that our best contribution is to support initiatives such as education, training and employment in Venezuela.
