I agree, with the internet these days, they don't need a big convention to push the announcement, holding it AFTER the convention would have been smart, either that, hold it after Toy Fair and the 4 figures for that year are announced, lol.. then it won't look as bad.

This is why they should have waited until after SDCC to do the vote. Lots of people voted for these and all of them were on at least one site's top six list. Royal Guard, Lando and Hera were on many.
