Hasbro's 3.75" Black Series Figures To Become A Wal-Mart Exclusive Line?!?

By Jay Cochran on 2015-09-02 in Action Figures
The site 4lomkuss.com has uncovered a list of upcoming Star Wars figures in Wal-Marts computers which list the following characters:

- E7 Kylo
- E7 Firs
- E6 Vader
- E4 Chewie
- E4 Han
- E4 Luke
- E4 Prin
- E7 Poe
- E7 Finn
- E7 Rey

They speculate because the price point for these figures are listed at $12.93 each that these are some form of Black Series 3.75" figures, which does make sense. The E4 Prin figure listed is likely the Black Series Ceremonial Princess Leia figure Hasbro recently confirmed for us was still coming with the hint that we would likely be seeing more Black Series figures released along with it.

As to why these are likely going to be Wal-Mart exclusives? The 4lom site suggests it is because Walmart is the only retailer that has these figures listed in their computer system, which is a little hard to confirm at this point. We however have felt the 3.75" Black Series figures would be going the exclusive route simply because none of them where listed in the recently leaked Hasbro Star Wars Product Catalog which showed their upcoming mainstream Star Wars stuff for the year.

The Walmart computers apparently don't show any stores having yet received these new 3.75" Black Series figures and the fact we have not seen any of these leak out early makes for a good bet that we won't be seeing them on shelves in time for the big "Force Friday" event which takes place on September 4. My guess is these will see release closer to Christmas time.

The biggest question that remains in my mind is whether or not this will be the final wave of 3.75" Black Series figures released which might be why its an exclusive, and if not will every wave going forward only be available at Wal-Mart? Only time will tell, but once the September 4 embargo date for Star Wars product passes we will definitely try following up with Hasbro on these and let you know.
