'Empire' Magazine Discusses The Backstories Of The First Order, Kylo Ren, And Supreme Leader Snoke

By Bespin refugee on 2015-08-25 in Action Figures
While it has been revealed that Kylo Ren's origins lie with the 'Knights of Ren', 'Empire' Magazine reveals more about the character (played by Adam Driver), and his connection to Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis). J.J. Abrams says, "Kylo Ren is not a Sith,...He works under Supreme Leader Snoke, who is a powerful figure on the Dark Side of the Force.”
The origins of 'The First Order' derive from the 'what if' idea of the Nazis working together again after going to Argentina “What could be born of that? Could The First Order exist as a group that actually admired The Empire? Could the work of The Empire be seen as unfulfilled? And could Vader be a martyr? Could there be a need to see through what didn’t get done?”

The 'Empire' Winter Preview hits newsstands on Thursday, August 27th

Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released in theaters on December 18th.
