Ok first we have been doing some digging, and though most of our sources don't know or can't say much, we have learned that there are some Star Wars: Force Awakens exclusives in the works including a boxset featuring four 6" Force Awakens Black Series figures. We don't know exactly what figures will be in the set but indications are it will be some kind of variants of the figures we have seen in the first wave. Indications are also that this set will be some kind of Internet exclusive. Another exclusive we have gotten wind of will feature some kind of vehicle, perhaps a Speeder of some type and likely be for the 3.75" line.
As for that first wave of 6" Black Series Star Wars: The Force Awakens figure, last week we told you that the Ultimate Toy Collector guys managed to score a set early before the September 4 "Force Friday" release date. Thanks to them we now have hi-res packaged and loose images of those figures to share with you as well as some unboxing videos they threw together. The wave includes Kylo Ren, Rey (Jakku) with BB-8, Finn (Jakku), First Order Stormtrooper & Chewbacca. Not the name Jakku for Finn and Rey is in reference to a planet, not their last names which apparently are being kept under wraps to avoid spoilers for the movie.
They also confirm for us that the head of the 6" Finn figure does fit on the body of the 6" First Order Stormtrooper figure, so you can make your own custom Finn in Stormtrooper disguise figure as seen in the trailers for the movie.
We have been told that regular cases for wave 1 feature 6 figures per case. We aren't sure which figure is double packed but we have also heard solid cases for figures like Kylo Ren and The First Order Stormtrooper will be made available to retailers.
