Can the Disney Store, home to an entire range of products based on the "Disney Princesses", really have no plans to add products based on one of their latest acquisitions, Princess Leia? Apparently, for now, at least. A mother posed the following question to the Disney Store, via Twitter, "...why aren't there any Leia Dolls or Leia products available in Disney stores? My daughter really wants one."; and, The Disney Store's response was "...Currently, there are no plans for Leia products at Disney Store,...Have a wonderful day!" It should be noted that Disney Store has contacted the mother to discuss the matter further, so, we'll see if anything changes.

I didn't even think of it the whole PRINCESS way... I wonder if Disney didn't either and then after that tweet... they saw a bunch of $$$, lol.. I can see them carrying Hasbro figs, but I doubt we'll see Dolls or anything like that in their other line, because like what WJ said, Hasbro owns the rights(and sideshow or whoever does the high end 12").. but, makes me wonder if they'll make a Leia dress and buns ears for the Disney Princesses dress up section now, lol.
Possibly because Hasbro has the rights to Star wars where as Mattel does the Disney Princesses
