Star Wars At The 2014 UK Toy Fair

While Hasbro's offerings are being held back for February's International Toy Fair, there were a few items from other companies on display at the 2014 UK Toy Fair. No photos were allowed, but, Lego's 2014 Original Trilogy and Yoda Chronicles sets were on display. eFX, Gentle Giant, Kotobukiya, and Sideshow Collectibles, were also represented, via their UK distributor, Amerang. UK company Bladez, who showed off their remote control inflatable R2-D2 a couple of years ago, have a few prototypes of upcoming products, including Darth Vader, Yoda, and the Millennium Falcon. Bluw, a new Star Wars licensee, has three new bling bagged Star Wars products for 2014, "Spin Strikers", a new collectible game, "Star Wars Slap Attack", and "Star Wars Galactic Goo". Together Plus had prototypes on display of their Chubbie Russian Doll concept; featuring C-3PO (with R2-D2 and Jawa), Yoda (with Mace Windu and Obi-Wan Kenobi), Chewbacca (with Han Solo and Greedo), Boba Fett (with Bossk and Zuckuss), and finally Jabba the Hutt (with Bib Fortuna and Salacious Crumb). Also on display were Zappies' Star Wars Slap Snap Wristbands, Zeon (featuring a new R2-D2 Cookie Jar, R2-D2 Pizza Cutter, and new figural mugs featuring Darth Vader and Stormtrooper), Revell's easy-kit models, Cartamundi's playing cards, Paladone's various novelty products, and Underground Toys/Gear4Games, who had a 12” Talking Jabba Plush on display.

That EFX helmet next to Han in Carbonite is nice. It is still not as accurate as the AP helmets though.
