Snagged most of the newest 3.75" Walmart wave. Old Luke, new red guard, and Stormtrooper with the nifty nabber accessory. Old Luke was the one I wanted most by far, picked up the other two just because. Rosie the Rebel was there but I held off for now, she's going to be the peg warmer so no rush.

This is the TRUE Star Wars scale, IMO, and though there are more 5 poa available to buy, I just can't get into them. I want to POSE my figures. So until the next walmart figures trickle out, I'm set.

Eeh... wait for target clearance on that, lol.

Off-topic, but Joe...where did you find that avatar?! I love it!! That was always one of my favorite Marvel issues way back when. That's so awesome...

I scored an articulated "Old Luke" earlier this evening at a Walmart while on mini-vacation...sorry, yojoe...I only found the one Luke. If I ever find him again, I'll definitely grab him for you...

Incidentally, I also found the 40th Anniversary 6-inch Vader with display stand on clearance there for fifteen bucks. Glad I stalled on the original price...

The wave with articulated old Luke is out. At my Walmart at least. I found the leftovers which consisted to two Rosie Riveters and no one else. And man, I could tell you a long story about the ineptitude of Walmart workers but I don't want to get angry again so I'll hold off.

Anyway, if anyone happens across 3.75", super articulated, Walmart old Luke and is thinking of me, I could definitely use one.

Just a heads up.....the SW Black 3.75 concept "white" Boba Fett (whew) is on the Walmart website..for $12.83.....if your interested, by all means....

Thanks for the update. Up top on that page is also a link for the others in the wave: Sandtrooper, Tusken Raider, and Walrus Man.

I have no real need for a Baba Fett that didn't quite make it to the screen and I have those other three. It's always nice to have a few of those sand troops but I'm holding off for now. Now I just have to wait a year and see what articulated 3.75" trickle out next.

I'm guilty...I can't walk the line...hypocrite...non-believer...agitator...I voted w/my wallet when it came to 3.75" Black figs(I never really bought them)...they were at one time $15 down to $13 then occasionally $10...since Walmart is the exclusive distributor, as is my understanding, Walmart is the only game in town, so in most of my WM's, they were stuck w/20 Admiral Akbar's ( I didn't ask for that fig by the way) & old Man Han's galore.........just a few years ago GI Joe's 3.75 lines resurgence gave me hope that SW figs would get some high quality articulated figs someday soon...the 5 POA figs weren't my bag so I never really bought those unless I really liked the sculpt & fig overall....but at $13 plus tax, Coupled w/the fact I was actively buying 6" black figs which are very spendy, 3.75" Black figs were out, unless they dropped the price..I feel like a grampa complaining about the old days & the old prices...lol...I muttered like Homer Simpson in a Righteous tone "shh I'd buy them all if they were 5 buxx"......well....today at WallyWorld, I ran across the $5.63 clearance sale...the line up was, Cassian, Jinn, 2 Scarif Troops, 2 Death Troopers ( I snagged one) 15 Admiral Snackbars, couple of those figs of the that smooth space pirate turned space mining baron Lando Dee Williams(which I can't believe I didn't get)....even a Smurf Princess Leia or two....I coulda spared a 20 & some change for the Empire but I just snagged up one lonely Death Trooper...I was amazed at my restraint cause I liked the tiny Scariff troops at first but after looking at them I put them back, I felt they were lacking something....so then I walked away like David Bruce Banner at the end of a shameful Incredible Hulk episode, like the time the Hulk ate 2 entire dairy cows & couldn't pay for his atrocity.....or that time he saved the whole town from being destroyed by a wild fire & then the bank which was saved & still open, foreclosed on everyone anyway......I could hear the sad piano keys playing as I kept walking.....6 & some change is fairly affordable for those figs... I'll never forget how tiny Jyn Erso looked dead inside but her small tiny piece together sniper rifle looked fuggen coolio.......

Wheeljack35 - 2016-09-10 @ 12:46 am

When Rogue one hits I am only interested in the titaniums and astromech.I will have to see the figures up close.I would like the U wing but I will see how much I have that day

JoeRhyno - 2016-09-10 @ 12:33 am

I don't know... I feel that they wait too long to bring figs out, like this force Friday crap, then after that, we only get a handful of waves... even of its 5 PoA crap, I wish they'd still pump out a eave every month or so... man, we're we spoiled with the 30th anniversary line, I don't think it'll ever be that good again.
