Oh, I know...that's what I meant; I knew there had been one released on the "Jedi" cardback, but I would like to have one on the plain "Star Wars" cardback with the silver Star Wars logo. I've got the "Jedi" one.

Yes...I agree about that Chewie. My brother has the Legacy Falcon, and whenever I'd go over to his house and check it out, I just couldn't put that Chewie down. It's definitely the best version, in my humble opinion. I'd like to see it re-released in the Vintage Collection, along with that Threepio and Artoo, on the original Star Wars cardback like the recent Vader. It always bugged me that they released some of these on "Empire" and "Jedi" cardbacks before they did ones with the original silver Star Wars logo.

They did. Back before the "vintage" line was mainstreamed.

I have the one with the closed mouth. Either way, it's the best Chewie made. I love playing with mine.

Ah! The Android set with Chewie's gonna be available again...that's the only one I don't have to date. Awesome news.

That is a great set. Flawless versions of three classic characters, a winner all around.

One good thing about SW is that they will re-release good figures like this again in case anyone misses out the first time (this is my personal favorite Chewbacca ever and he's been aroud on about 4 seprate occasions). Unlike other lines that will give you one shot only with crap distribution and then, when you miss out on a key character, it's off to ebay with you.

Here's a look at the cardback

Sounds like I may be good with the latest three pack as well. What do the Fett and Sandperson look like?

Bespin refugee - 2012-06-29 @ 6:43 am

With the vintage packaging/theme, silver deco 'Death Star Droid', and now the 3 pack w/ 'Snaggletooth', I'm a little surprised the power droid doesn't have the blue deco.

I try to get these whenever they come out. I just love them purely for the retro packaging, not because they necessarily include a given figure I love. It's mainly about the packaging.

My biggest problems with these sets is their price.
