I was able to get the build a figure RED Hulk on ebay for under 50 bucks. Only figure I wanted out of the series.

As I posted on the Marvelousnews.com forum this morning I found the Rulk wave a few days ago but was completely outraged by the price. They went from being $9.99 to $14.99, that's a 50% price increase which is crazy expensive. So I had the idea after inspecting the receipt that since Target scans the same SKU you could return any Marvel Legend figure with no problems.

My local Wal Mart has six Blob series Jean Greys on clearance for $5 each so bought those today and returned them to the Target using the Rulk wave receipt. Essentially I paid about $30 for $90 worth of figures. Go me!

Some people may see this as dishonest or immoral, but Target is crazy if they think I'm gonna pay out the wazoo for these figures. I just wanted to pass this along to my fellow collectors out there!

Is this still working? i found a few Hulk MLs and i was thinking i could return some extras ML i have to help with the cost- please LMK

it worked!

FINALLY!Found them all at a local Target early this morning and on my birthday. I am so exited and can now exhale a breath of fresh air. The Target store where I found them had every single figure in the amazing set. I didn't buy all of them ( saving some of my b-day money for other things ) but I did manage to pick up 4 of the ones that I wanted the most. Got both of the Wolverines, black suited Spidey and Spiral. Spiral is now my new favorite. This figure is incredible! I actually hit 2 Targets, which had nothing before I was finally able to find them at the 3rd store. The packaging isn't in extreme mint condition but it looks good enough. I may not even open them, can't make up my mind. The 4 figures that I picked up cost me a whopping $64.00 dollars . But in the end they are worth it. I will probably purchase the remaining 3 later on, if I can find them again so I can have my red Hulk figure. Happy Hunting everyone.

I finally broke down and got the entire wave (variant and all) from eBay. Considering that Target was hocking them for $15 apiece, I didn't lose my shirt that badly.

I stopped at two Targets last week: one had a couple of Black Spidey's and a variant Wolverine, and the other Target had almost the whole wave minus Union Jack and Spiral. It's good to see Target restocking this exclusive wave.

One of the best waves since Hasbro took over. I suggest getting all of them. They are all kick-ass figs. Spiral is amazing. Simbiote Spidey is awesome. Black Variant Wolverine is sick!...... All in all, I dig the whole wave....plus RED HULK!

Man, these sure are hard to find. I saw one Wolverine and a black suited Spider Man on the shelf at a local Target almost 2 weeks ago but didn't have the money to buy them. Now I haven't seen any of these figures since. The Target stores in my area have an abismal toy selection. I seriously think that I may never see any of these ever again at this point. Target is ##$%$#ed when it comes to keeping this stuff re-stocked. Really bummed. Why does Target even bother if people have such a hard time getting these? Also, you know when it's an exclusive scalpers are all over it like flies on horse sh*t.

Same here. I was going to get three of them but then backed out when I thought I could get them online for cheaper. Now? The exclusiveness of this wave is just nonsense and frustrating. GRRR!!
