Leading up to the announcement of the winners of the 2011
Star Wars Fan Movie Challenge at SDCC, Atom.com and Lucasfilm Ltd. present a list of the finalists:

These videos, which will be available for viewing until July 14th at
StarWars.Atom.com, will be voted on by users, as well as the judgment of George Lucas and staff members at Lucasfilm and Atom.com, to decide the winners, which will then be unveiled live during the awards show on Thursday July 21 (8:30 - 11:30 p.m. in Ballroom 20) at San Diego Comic-Con International. This year's eight categories are: 'Audience Choice Award', 'Best Acting', 'Best Animated Feature', 'Best Comedy', 'Best Fan Fiction', 'Best Sequel', 'George Lucas Selects Award', and 'Spirit of Fandom'.
