WWE is indeed smart if this is the route they're going. Case in point, before Royal Rumble, it was said that John Cena was months from returning and his recovery was gonna be longer than expected then boom, Cena shows up out of nowhere and the crowd pops out of their minds. I detest Cena so I felt like throwing furniture, but it was indeed very smart by the WWE to pull this off and kudos to them for actually keeping it secret from the net community.
I guess that's good that Orton's accident wasn't real. I'm not thrilled it means he will be back sooner but I wouldn't wish a motorcycle accident on him.
Any one want to take bets on how long Rey lasts this run before tearing something else ?
What? Orton's motorcycle accident could be a work? And, that's a concern, really?
If anything, it's smart booking. Makes the return beatdown by Orton on whomever that much more of a surprise.
Plus, it's not like "potentially tragic andlife altering" things have not been worked before in the business in order to work an angle. Fritz Von Erich had a heart attack, The Sandman feigned blindness, and countless other incidents have happened. That whole angle last year is gonna really pay off when Benoit returns and take down someone... think of the pop the crowd will have.
