Hell I'm going to do this again sometime in the future I still have alot I could of listed but sending it to them does cost money too.

Yeah, but for me, where I'd usually try to sell stuff through eBay, and I'd maybe not even sell everything and have to pay fees anyway, I figure the shipping I'd pay to sell it to bbts.com would be cheaper than the eBay fees. And if I'm gonna sell something, I want it gone quick. I don't like to sit on stuff forever if I'm wanting rid of it. Actually I think bbts.com has gotten the majority of my Joe collections over the past couple of years, but I digress...

I think most if not all of us adut collectors can relate to the growing problem of gas prices x toy prices x rarity of items x free time = diminished motivation.

I'm in love with the line, but genuinely tired of finding NOTHING. That's why I just order everything from BBTS now... Saves me time and ultimately works out the the same are retail, if you don't count the S&H. Even if you do, I bet you spend just as much driving from the Toys R Us on Avenue A to the Target on Avenue Z.

I just recently sold alot of items to bbts

I'm just waiting to get my check

They offered me $735cash ,I could of gotten $880 in store credit but I needed the cash..... for my stuff which includes Transformers ,Star Wars ,GI Joe and DC

I'm going to take $150 of that money to get the BMF hopefully by next week

Is there anything you want to get rid of from your collection to help you moneywise?remember they offer store credit so maybe you can get some Joe items

That's exactly what I did with the rest of my 25th figures. I scored the Han Solo statue, the Mynock Hunt Chewbacca mini-bust, and the Queen Amidala and Kit Fisto Classics busts out of the deal, so I'm happy. I had been wanting the Han Solo statue for some time now, and I do believe it's my favorite piece so far in my collection. They did an outstanding job on the sculpt. However, my Kit Fisto bust's head was broken off in the box when I opened it! But you know what? Bbts.com offered to replace it with no questions asked. I highly recommend them to anyone thinking of doing business with them. Their prices are great, and their customer service is excellent. (Okay..end of shameless plug.) (lol)

I've also considered the BMF as well, but I'm starting to steer away from toys lately, just like with my Joes. But it is a toy straight outta my dreams. I just can't afford it right now, and I know Santa would have a hard time getting one later on I'm sure... (lol)

Since I don't want to hijack this thread I'm posting a new thread in Transformers with the list if you want to see

I have been thinking about doing that. I have a bunch of Star Wars, GI Joe, Star Trek and other stuff I need to get rid of. Nobdy here seems to want it. Store credit would be nice even.

Just how much did you get rid of to get that much back if you don't mind me asking?

I think I am going to be alot more choosy with my Joe purchases too. Less CC's and Dukes and less army building, but not much less. I am going to get vehicles just for figures if the figures look good. I have all the original vehicles so there is going to have to be a big improvement and changes and a nice figure for me to get them, like the Skyhawk with Lift-Ticket. I'll pass on something like the AWE Striker with Leatherneck.

I'll mainly just buy figures of Characters that have never been made before .... like the Cobra Paratrooper,Bazooka Trooper , Matt Tracker and Wraith ...... i'm just gettng sick and tired of there being a dozen Dukes, Snake-Eyes , Cobra Commander Ect.

I'm feeling your frustration on that issue.

Do the collectors REALLY push Hasbro to include these core characters in every wave, like they do? If it's not the core character collectors of ARAH, (you know, the ones that don't buy ANYTHING else besides the top 5 core characters and cry if they don't make them all the time) then does Hasbro think some kid is just now, going to suddenly be exposed to the toyline, and when that happens for the FIRST time, it's important that each new blossoming young fan have immediate access to the top 5 core characters, so they flood each wave with'em?

I'm mean..there's still plenty of characters in need of a REDO for this 25th style line, and yet look at how many versions there are already of the core characters and in versions that didn't REALLY need done or I doubt were even all that asked for by the fans.

One question I had to ask

Is your Clone Army going to get bigger with the new movie figures and vehicles?

I'll have to say .... I hate the animated style figures ( well hate is too harsh of a word but they just don't fit in with regular figures).... Now I'm going to get a few SCUBA Troopers when I find some loose ones to add to the few I have now ...and I do have a couple of the Quad Gun Clones ....but I really don't know quite yet ....... although the vehicles I will try to get a few of maybe 2 AT-TEs a few AT-APs , Gunships , and hopefully I can find some loose Barc Speeders from the new Battlepacks.....

But I don't know I'll have to see what comes out when.......

No , there's nothing that I want to get rid of ..... I'm just trying to weight out what I should focus on first .......... Transformers Is my #1 priority (TFs I'll never stop collect) .... and then tied for second is GI Joe and Star Wars.... I had to decide on which one to lay off of for awhile , because my 2 third place toylines are getting alot of new stuff released within the next few months , and that's Marvel and DC stuff..... so out of all 5 of these toylines the one that I have all the characters from (for the most part) is GI Joe ...... that's why I'm only going to be buying figures of character that haven't been made like Tracker & wraith..... you know what i mean ?...
