2010 Q&A Session With Hasbro's Star Wars Brand Team

By Jay Cochran on 2010-09-14 in Action Figures

Hasbro's Star Wars brand team agreed to answer two questions from Jedi Insider fans on a regular basis. Here are this session's questions and answers.

JI: Will the upcoming Vintage Collection Jedi Luke Skywalker come with a soft goods cloak or have a feature where you can clip a lightsaber hilt to the figures belt?

Hasbro: The figure will not include the cape, nor a way to clip the lightsaber to the belt.

JI: 2. Now that we have been introduced to Darl Maul's brother, Savage Oppress, when can we expect to see a figure of him released and when will we get our first look at said figure?

Hasbro: We cannot get Savage Oppress into the line quickly enough! Right now, it looks like he'll be on shelves May 1st next year. We'll have a first look at him at Toy Fair.

It turned out to be a nice figure. I also got the DCD Dark Knight Joker figure (and ordered the Hot Toys DK Joker that's coming out again in December), thinking I would get the comic one just to go with my comic DCD 13" villains and Batman but would not like him. Turns out he is pretty good. I didn't like the wandering eye that much, but I added some red and black to his eyes and they look better to me now.

Here are some photos I took with the factory paint job:

and after touching the eyes up:

I was looking forward to both Joker and Harley, but I've dropped this line and am in the process of selling them off.

The ever-increasing price, lack of Wonder Woman, and too many characters that I don't care about (Watchmen, movie figures) turned me off.

I'd still like to see pics of these two though!

Well I can help ya out because there are a few that I would like to buy from you if you are indeed selling them off!

LMK!

PM sent your way

Hay bud! I was starting to think you fell off the earth. good to see you back.

Hey Charles! I just noticed that you sent me a PM....for some reason I'm getting sporadic emails when a PM is sent to me. I never really left here, just been busy with work and my guy

I hear ya! nothing like having a good man to take up all that free time hehehe. & what's up with the new avatar & sig? its realy cool. if you can tare your self away from that man of yours long enough, then PM me with the details about that "missing you" sig. it looks very beautiful & i'd like to know more about it.

I've had a few people ask, so I'll just post it here:

The avatar is the cover of the last Enigma album, A. Posteriori and the signature is the upcoming Enigma album, Seven Lives Many Faces.

The quote in my sig is from the song Sitting On The Moon by Enigma, again from their album, A. Posteriori.

Enigma is a great music project...I've listened to them since their debut in 1990.

YUP YUP YUP!!! I got mine last week. The Joker looks very creepy & Harly is completes him nicely. I get a real good deal on most of my 13" DCD, two for $140.00 flat rate tax included. Joker has this realy creepy yet cool fish gun. & Harly comes with a big A malet & a big A gun with big A bullets (talk about a size queen).
