After seeing some of the really cool upcoming X-Men related Marvel Select figures, I began to wonder if there was any chance of seeing a Marvel Select Iceman at some point in the future? Iceman seems perfect for the Select line, as he could come with a big ice sled stand thingie. No company has ever made a really good Iceman figure & I know if you guys made one it would be great.
DSTChuck: Right now there are no plans for Ice Man but that does not mean we might not make one at some point in the future.

First off I love your Marvel Select Line and 1:4 SW figures!! Secondly- my question: Regarding MS will you be making a Gladiator figure from the Shia’r story line? I would also love to see you do a Steve Rogers Captain America…PRETTY PLEASE!! And I wanted to put it out there that I was SO happy to see the unmasked head for Magneto with the figure on display at Toy Fair, but I recently heard that you’ll have to buy the exact same figure just to get the alternate head, why not include the alternate head in the package as one figure? Or perhaps make the second head come on a body with a different costume for the character?
DSTChuck: We do not have plans right now for another Captain America so soon after the Bucky one but its something we’re going to keep an eye on as the story in the comic evolves. You are correct the Magneto is not a change -o - head it will be a short pack variation in cases.

Entertainment Earth is currently showing the Ultimate Quarter Scale Mos Eisley Han Solo as “Cancelled”. Is this true? If not, when will we see Captain Solo? Thanks for answering.
DSTChuck: We have canceled retailers orders due to the lateness of the item, but we are still going forward with the item. In fact we’ve very close to getting a sample here to review. We cancel retailers orders sometimes when this happens so they can get more updated orders, in case some consumers have canceled their older orders.

ARE THERE ANY PLANS OF MAKING MARVEL SELECT ACTION FIGURES OF JUGGERNAUT, SILVER SURFER, ROGUE, COLOSSUS AND A STEVE ROGERS CAPTAIN AMERICA?
DSTChuck: Yes, maybe, no, maybe - you guess which answer goes with which.

Hey guys, let me just say phenomenal job on the Marvel Select iron man 2 figures. ok, my question/request/suggestion. there is a strong group of collectors out there that feel there are certain characters out there that must be made yesterday from Marvel Select; specifically Juggernaut, Terrax, & Gladiator(imperial guard). Marvel Select is well known for making some of the best bases and I even remember reading that you tried to make the recent Daredevil, Spider-Man and Thing bases connecting to form one big base. Well, to borrow from this idea I have come up with a way for you to make a lot of money and make a lot of collectors happy. 4 characters (Terrax, Gladiator, Gorgon & Blastaar) come with a base that connect to make the supreme intelligence. What do ya think? if not; at the very least could we see about getting on that juggernaut? Thanks.
DSTChuck: I’m happy you’re pleased with the line, especialy the Iron Man figures. We do from time to time toss around the idea of linking bases but nothing is in progress right now. None of the galactic figures you mention are in our plans for 2010 but you never know and thanks for the idea.

I thought your Iron Man and War Machine figures looked great… however, at least on the Mark IV version at the local Borders Iron Man’s eyes weren’t painted on his face mask! Were all the produced versions like this?
DSTChuck: Yes we are now aware of that issue. It seems a good bit of the Borders order was done without painting on the eyes. It was our intention that they be painted but in the rush to get them done in time, it was missed on the production proofs we looked over.

Hello! First, I absolutely LOVE your products, especially your TOS Trek and the upcoming Universal Monsters look fabulous… although I did wish to comment that the Bride’s hair wasn’t black, it was auburn. It’s a common mistake from a black and white film, but for the most part Elsa Lanchester’s actual hair was used on a wire frame, which was auburn in color. I’d love to see somebody do her accurately for a change :) Beautiful work as always!
DSTChuck: Andy, I congratulate your thoroughness but I think we’re going to leave it as is. Based on what we have found and past Bride products and Universals approval we’re pretty confident. Maybe its like Han’s pants, blue or black — we’ll never know.

I can’t wait to see a re release of the back to the future mark II Delorean 1/15 scale time machine are you going to see more painting details on seats the dashboard and lighting on the front and back lights
DSTChuck: Justin, I think we did a pretty good job on the details - all things considered but every time we make a re-run we do look to see if anything can be improved.

Hello, I’m a big fan of your lines of action figures and collectibles, especially the BSG stuff and Minimates and was just wondering if you guys ever considered or would consider taking on the LOST license and franchise for action figures or collectibles? The show doesn’t really have much merchandise going for it, and while Bif Bang Pow is doing those Megos-like figures, I don’t think LOST is worthy of just those. The McFarlane line that lasted two series were fantastic but I think they had to cut it out due to financing. Those McFarlane figures mark as some of the most detailed figures of all time and I’d just love to see if DST would take a chance at getting the LOST license, because the characters of the series in your action figure line would be a LOST fan’s dream come true. Is there any chance of this becoming a possibility? The series is ending in just a few months but it’ll live on forever in merchandising and who else but DST to handle collectibles of cult status shows?
DSTChuck: I can say we’ve looked at the license from time to time but never pulled the trigger. Sometimes a movie or TV show can be real cool and have lots of fans but not really drive merchandise. Maybe after the show has been off the air a little while we’ll see how strong the following is.
