New Upcoming Star Wars Lego Sets For 2010

We showed you these last month during Toy Fair, and now we bring you some hi-res PR shots sent to us by LEGO of their upcoming Star Wars sets for 2010. Check them out down below in our IMAGE GALLERY. Shown are the following sets:

8089 Hoth Wampa Set





Builders celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back with this classic scene. While on scouting duty on Hoth, Luke Skywalker is captured by a ferocious Wampa ice creature. Help him use the force to recover his lightsaber and help pilot Zev Senesca save him using the Snowspeeder. This set includes Wampa ice creature, Luke Skywalker, and Zev Senesca minifigures. I also like the added bonus of a dead corpse figure at the corner of the cave. This set contains 297 pieces and will have a price of $39.99 (USD) or $54.99 (CAD). Look for it to hit shelves by August 2010.

8093 Plo Koon's Starfighter





Builders help Jedi Master Plo Koon, leader of a Clone Army taskforce, scour the space lanes for General Grievous' new superweapon, Malevolence, as seen in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, if the mission proves to be too dangerous, Plo Koon can eject from his starfighter and live to fight another day. This set includes Jedi Master Plo Koon, and a new R7-D4 astromech droid minifigures. This set contains 175 pieces and wil have a price of $24.99 (USD) or $34.99 (CAD). Look for it to hit shelves by August 2010.

8095 General Grievous Starfighter





Returning to his secret lair to recover and plot his next attack on the Republic, General Grievous is attacked by a new Jedi Knight, Nahdar Vebb. Builders help General Grievous' trusted droid assistant, A4-D, guide the speedy starfighter and get everyone home safely. This set includes a new General Grievous, A4-D droid and Jedi Knight Nahdar Vebb minifigures. This set contains 454 pieces and will have a price of $49.99 (USD) or $69.99 (CAD). Look for it to hit shelves by August 2010.

8096 Emperor Palpatine's Shuttle





Using his personal shuttle to recover Anakin Skywalker from the volcanic planet of Mustafar, Emperor Palpatine transforms Anakin into Darth Vader, as seen in Revenge of the Sith. Builders use the transformation bed and medical droid to place the helmet on Anakin and complete the transformation. This set includes new battle damaged Anakin Skywalker with Darth Vader helmet, Emperor Palpatine and new medical droid and clone pilot minifigures. This set contains 592 pieces and will have a price of $59.99 (USD) or $79.99 (CAD). Look for it to hit shelves by August 2010.

8097 Slave I





Fans celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back with this iconic Slave I model. Frozen in carbonite in Cloud City on Darth Vader's orders, Han Solo is transported by the famed bounty hunter Boba Fett in Slave I to the gangster, Jabba the Hutt, where he meets the fearsome Trandoshan hunter Bossk. This set includes Han Solo, Boba Fett and Bossk minifugures. This set contains 573 pieces and will have a price of $79.99 (USD) or $109.99 (CAD). Look for it to hit shelves by August 2010.

8098 Clone Turbo Tank






Builders lead the Clone Turbo Tank through Separatist opposition, as seen in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. But the ruthless bounty hunter Cad Bane has other plans and is trying to sabotage it right under the nose of the Jedi Knights. Included in this set are Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka, Aayla Secura, clone trooper and bounty hunter Cad Bane minifigures. This set contains 1,141 pieces and will have a price of $119.99 (USD) or $159.99 (CAD). Look for it to hit shelves by August 2010.
