Hasbro's Star Wars brand team agreed to answer two questions from Jedi Insider fans on a regular basis. Here are this week's questions and answers. You can also head over to
Toy News International to check out another Q&A session.
JI: Which line is more fun to work on, the Clone Wars animated series or the regular movie lines?
Hasbro: While the movie line is a blast to work on thanks to the nostalgia for the great movies of the Star Wars saga, nothing beats the anticipation of new Star Wars entertainment and the surprises that lay in store for us, and eventually, for you the fans. So right now, it's that childlike anticipation that gets us excited for each new episode we are able to watch that makes the Clone Wars the most exciting segment in the line.
JI: Do you watch the Clone Wars animated series on a regular basis, and if so, what has been your favorite episode so far?
Hasbro: We do watch it as often as we can, and as often as we can we get out to Lucasfilm to get a peek at episodes as they are in development to be best able to tailor the lineup to match what we are seeing. There are so many great episodes to like; our favorites from Season 1 are probably Rookies and Lair of Grievous. For Season 2, we really go into the Geonosis and Mandalorian trilogies. We really enjoy the Clones and Mandos, but we especially enjoy when we see some interesting new characters like the brash young Jedi Nahdar Vebb. We liked him so much, he became our mail-in promotional figure this Spring!
