Trick-Or-Treat From Dark Horse Comics

By Bespin refugee on 2009-10-28 in Action Figures
From StarWars.com:
In addition to the usual candy, raisins, and pennies, trick-or-treaters can also bring home a Star Wars mini comic this Halloween. Check your local comic shop to see if they are participating in the mini-comic handout this year, which includes a variety of other titles in addition to the Star Wars tale of Han and Chewie on a mysterious planet.

one thing i totaly forgot to mention was they had the cliffjumper add on gear for the classics, along with the ultra magnus trailor for the classics, and minin megatron classic guns for starscream to hold, the guy standing there didn't speak english very well so i'm not sure what he was saying, but he said they'll be ready for september, and you gotta pre order it!!

there was a little tag on the cliffjumper that said the mold for it has been destroyed...i don't know why!! but that trailor looked sweet!!

I saw pictures of the mini Megatron classic guns... real cool looking... I think they come in both Henkei and US colors...

i didn't even get his autograph, i hate standing in lines and i missed a few from the past years, i'm more there for what he has to say aboot the transformers world!!

i have a pic of 25th ann. optimus prime, but its nothing special, nothing we haven't seen before, g1 done again...although there was a large autobot thing that would clip to the front of the trailer, kinda like the thing that came with G2 optimus!!

another thing is we wont be getting the DVD of the origianl animated movie with the one that is coming to canada, but we are getting the comic!!

the best thing i got was armada skywarp, i've been hunting for him awhile now $40...i also like the premium movie figures, i grabbed blackout and barricade!! but i've been getting less and less each year because i've been going to them for the last seven years, less holes to fill in my collection!!

Unfortunately TF first and foremost are designed for kids so we dont get voyager secondary characters Execpt for repaints.

I would have loved to have seen Leader Class Bonecrusher, voyager class tank and stuff. Id pay a little extra but would children.

i love the new universe toys, i thought tankore could have been a voyager class, the same with astro train in the last run!!

and sideswipe being a turned around sunstreaker is kinda lame, but at least he looks different that way!!

Starscream49 - 2008-06-23 @ 10:42 am

Wow the first new Universe wave is out in Canada. I assume you live in Canada? I guess you could have went there. They were $16 huh. Thats Canadian money right? How do you like them.

There used to be a TF con in New Jesey I attended but it folded. I wish one would come back or something. The coolest thing I find about the TF cons are all the accessories like guns and stuff you can pick up.

well this was the first year we had a Hasbro rep there, they were also selling the first wave of universe there, sunstreaker, tankor and prowl, but i had already gotten them from walmart before hand, good thing too cause they were selling them for @20 each and i got them for $16, and you could only get tankor if you got all three of them!!

this year it did seem a little smaller compared to last year, in terms of things for sale, maybe thats cause i'm getting more and more stuff all the time, and have less holes to fill in!!

Starscream49 - 2008-06-23 @ 7:25 am

Wow I didnt think that con went that far in depth. Too bad about the titanium line. Also very sad theres not gonna be a bonecrusher leader class.
